The Boston Freedom Fighters are a locally owned and operated group. The Boston Freedom Fighters are committed to putting together an exciting and entertaining brand of football on the field every game. Our front office, along with players, coaches and entire staff look forward to working with local and civic charitable groups.

Front Office:

The Boston Freedom Fighters are led by a dynamic leadership team. William Spadafora is the President of the organization. Sean Stellato is the Vice President and General Manager. These two successful businessmen combine the best of the North Shores. Their combined business acumen and sports industry experience and offer the Boston Freedom Fighters franchise a very strong base on which to open the inaugural season.

 

Bill Spadafora, a prominent Malden businessman, owns and operates the Spadafora Slush Company with his wife Donna. They started this business 30 years ago and have grown the brand as a recognized market leader in that industry. Bill is also a retired Deputy Assistant Superintendent with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office and current President of the New England Chapter of the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame.

 

 

Sean P. Stellato has been a certified NFLPA Contract Advisor since September of 2005 and currently represents several NFL players. He grew up North of Boston in Salem, Massachusetts. He attended Salem High School where excelled in football and basketball. Sean Stellato is a former professional Arena Football player, Division I football and basketball player at Marist College. Sean signed his first professional football contract with the Florida Firecats in 2002. From 2002-2004, Sean played with the Louisville Fire, Memphis Explorers and went to mini camp with the New York Dragons. Sean founded the 
All-American Showcase in November of 2007, which is a skills tutorial for high school athletes looking to demonstrate their talent for local and national institutions.

 

Coaches:

 

Patrick Pass is our head coach. Patrick is a former 7th round pick in the 2000 draft for the New England Patriots and was a versatile running back in the NFL for several years. He is a three time Super Bowl Champion who is looking forward to bringing his insight and lessons learned from 9 seasons in the NFL to the Boston Freedom Fighters.

 

 

 

Our Associate Head Coach is Jermaine Wiggins. The New York Jets drafted Wiggins, a local from East Boston, in 1999 after playing tight end in college football for the University of Georgia. Jermaine went on to play for the N.E. Patriots and earned a Super Bowl ring with them in Super Bowl XXXVI.

 

 

 

Vernon Crawford will fill the Defensive Coordinator position. A former 5th round draft pick out of Florida State that played 3 years with New England Patriots, Crawford has been coaching high schoolfootball since he retired as a player.

 

 

 

Our Line Coach will be Max Lane. Lane played offensive tackle for the U.S. Naval Academy and was drafted in 1994 by the New England Patriots in the sixth round. Lane played for the New England Patriots for seven years. Football is in his DNA.

 

 

 

Play will begin in March 2013 and finish with playoffs in July.
